We suggest that you don’t set New Year Resolutions, rather think about New Year SOLUTIONS.
Consider the things you want to change; it may be your fitness level, how you handle stress, you want to get in an extra session of YOU time. Whatever the Solution give some thought to setting Solution goals.
We all know about SMART goals and how they have to be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timed, so Planning will be a key. Write down your purpose, what is the goal, plan how you aim to achieve it and then nut out the steps you aim to take. The more you break down your goals the more achievable they become because you attack them in small steps.
When you have nutted out your New Year Solutions, tell someone. This will make you accountable, and accountability can be a great driver of success.
The Targeted Fitness team of trainers is here to help you achieve your fitness goals, but I also urge you to think about YOU on in the inside as well. Start the year the way you aim to finish. Exercise is great for the mind, body and heart, look after all three aspects and you will feel better for it.
On a side note but related after all our Christmas and New Year indulgences, this is also a good time to take stock of your nutrition, consider also what you would like to change about that for 2019 and add that to your solution goals.
