TARGETED Fitness is located in Waterloo Avenue, Thornton – we have two fully-equipped training rooms for private and personal training sessions in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We also provide a dedicated Pilates studio.

All trainers are registered professionals with Fitness Australia.

Michelle Davis is the Owner and Manager of Targeted Fitness. Michelle oversees the running of the business and has an active role as a Personal Trainer on a daily basis. Michelle started at the gym as a client herself, later becoming a valued member of the team and finally taking over the business in 2009. She has been involved in fitness since the early 1990’s.

Qualifications include Certificate lll and IV in Fitness, and Diploma in Fitness. Specializing in the registered categories of Personal Trainer, Gym Instructor, Group Exercise, Freestyle Instructor, Children’s Trainer and Older Adults Trainer. Michelle is licensed and qualified to deliver Senior Exercise VitalMoves – which is a gentle physical activity program. Michelle is also certified/qualified to deliver Studio Pilates Mat classes. Senior First Aid Qualified.

Michelle also specialises in weight loss results and is a qualified Weight Loss Consultant accredited through the College of Weight Loss Consultants.  Michelle has a strong understanding of the ups and downs faced by those who wish to lead a healthier, fitter and happier lifestyle and is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals.

Other acknowledgments include Maitland Woman of the Year 2014, Steel Magnolia Newcastle 2014, and Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellow for “recognition of exceptional service”.

Deborah is the front desk receptionist at TF. She brings extensive administrative experience to the Receptionist role, having previously worked within diverse public, private sector and charitable sectors. Deb loves being part of the client focused team at Targeted Fitness and is inspired by the clients and their personal fitness journeys, from the initial assessment, and following through to where they are today.

You may see Deborah in the training rooms as she participates in Group sessions and Pilates. She is passionate about her health and fitness, is a qualified Cert III Gym Instructor, Senior First Aid qualified, and is also working towards a Cert IV in Fitness. In her spare time, Deborah is completing a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication).

Matthew is a fully qualified Personal Trainer having completed Certificate III and IV in Fitness and Personal Training. Matt specialises in Small Group Training, Boxing for Fitness, Bootcamp, Power Lifting and Strength Training.

Matthew is very passionate about training for fitness and health, and currently competes in Strongman and also Power Lifting events. Matthew enjoys “the outdoors” and riding his motorbike. He is also an avid small aircraft pilot.

Emily is our newest Personal Trainer. She is qualified in Certificate III & IV in Fitness and is Senior First Aid qualified. Emily also holds an AIN Nursing Certificate.

Emily specialises in Strength Training, Boot Camp, Small Group Training, and older population groups.

Todd is an on call casual Personal Trainer. He is qualified in Certificate III and IV and is Senior First Aid qualified.

Todd facilitates Super circuits, various Small Group sessions and the Targeted Fitness Running Club at Walka Water Works Parkrun on Saturday mornings.

Todd enjoys all things fitness, and is an avid golfer and scuba diver.
