Targeted Fitness offers a wide variety of Personal Training, Group Fitness, Pilates, Stretch, Boxing For Fitness, Kids Gym, Bootcamp, and Older Adults groups (VitalMoves) to suit all type of people with all types of needs.
Personal One-on-One Training, is specifically designed programs to suit your individual fitness or weight-loss goals. The benefits of a personal trainer faster and better results. Having a personal trainer to guide you through your fitness routine will help you spend time on the proper types of exercise, and also correct your technique. Proper fat loss and muscle gain will be monitored, and you will also reduce your chance of injury. Having a PT helps you overcome plateaus and establish a lifetime of good exercise habits.
Open Group Session for up to six people, with your group’s own personal trainer, this allows for maximum attention and with a strong emphasis on technique. There are many benefits to training in a group environment. Accountability is a great motivator and if you know people are relying on you to show up then you are more likely to do so. Encouragement from your trainer or your work out buddies can be a great motivator to keeping you on track and don’t forget the social aspect, you can make new friends with similar interests. The small groups at TF allow this to happen in a friendly encouraging environment.
Private Closed Group Session for groups of up to four people who would like to train specifically with each other, i.e. family members or friends, again with your own personal trainer. Get the benefits of strength training and cardio. You will get stronger, your fitness will improve and you will burn calories and watch your body change all with the encouragement of not only your trainer but your family and close friends. You can support and encourage each other.
VitalMoves (formally Heart moves) this exercise program has been put together for people of all ages. Designed for people with heart conditions, diabetes, obese or who have been advised by their doctor to enjoy some form of exercise and those who have never exercised before. Kids & Teens ages 7-15. Children who don’t get enough physical activity are at a greater risk of becoming overweight or obese. This makes it harder for them to be active and keep up in sport or play. We all know its hard to get kids off the couch and moving these days. It’s important that kids and teens get a combination of moderate and vigorous activities for at least 60 minutes a day. With this in mind TF has designed small group sessions for the kids. The class can accommodate up to 10 and will run for one hour. It incorporates strength, cardio, balance and coordination activities and is adjusted to suit the age and ability of every child attending.
Pilates – Experience the Ultimate Toning Workout, TARGETED Fitness with our qualified Studio Pilates instructor. A Pilates Matwork class incorporates special resistance equipment to boost the intensity of the workout, toning and sculpting your entire body. In our Pilates Mat based class you will experience special sequences of exercises that are formulated to work you hard, isolate muscle groups and activate smaller accessory muscles, toning and sculpting your entire body.
Pilates is a great workout designed to tone and sculpt your body as well as correct your posture and any muscular imbalances you may have. Our sessions are small to ensure you get the specialized attention you require
Boxing For Fitness will challenge you and increase your fitness. The class caters for all levels of experience, male and female. Boxing For Fitness is one of the most popular fitness regimes around, and if it’s a lean, toned, strong body you’re after then this could the workout for you.
A typical class will start with a 10-minute warm-up, followed by about 40 minutes of boxing and finishing with a 10-minute cool-down. What you can expect from regular boxing sessions: learn great form and technique, fat loss, increased agility and coordination, muscle tone and greater fitness. Many people think that boxing is all about the arms but it is a cardio work-out for the whole body.
Monday Super Circuit boot camp style workout held indoors and out. This session is designed to challenge you and can be adjusted to suit all levels of fitness. Comprising mostly of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) The session has been designed to alternate between intense bursts of activity and fixed periods of less-intense activity cardio, endurance or strength exercises.
BioAge – a Bio Age test is a measurement of a person’s ‘real’ or ‘biological’ age telling you how well you are performing for your years. BioAge can help to increase your motivation and exercise adherence and therefore your overall results. Its a great way to monitor your results in terms of health and fitness. The test takes approximately 30 minutes. On completion you will be provided with a comprehensive Bio Age report.
Corporate Fitness (in-studio) for groups of up to six. These can be timed to suit the business and the employees such as lunch breaks or before-work workouts.Corporate Fitness (on work site) with a personal trainer coming to your workplace and delivering a 45 minute session consisting of light strength and conditioning exercises as well as stretches. Can be delivered morning, midday or afternoon to suit the employees and the business
